Marci began the ICE Program in 1992, after starting our sister program in Chimacum, the Pi Program, with which we share her time. Marci has been teaching in contract-based education for over 25 years and is as enthusiastic about experiential and expeditionary learning as when she began. She specializes in Environmental Sciences, Social Studies, and the Puget Sound Explorers Sailors Arts class, but loves to teach it all, bringing in community members to support our programs.
Daniel joined ICE in September, 2008, after spending 12 years teaching at Blue Heron Middle School. He has spent a year in Tanzania teaching in an international school. He also worked as a resource teacher at Mountain View Elementary for three years. His hobbies include kayaking, hiking, biking, making music, reading, and writing. But his current favorite activity is spending time with his three young children.
