What is so great about reading?

This is what we said:

I can use my imagination. I can make connections. I like the colorful pictures and art work. I like to practice learning to read. I can figure out new words I’ve never known before. I can figure out what is going to happen. It makes you wonder what is going to happen. It is fun; it makes you laugh. There might be something interesting like cats with wings. There are subjects you like. You can learn about animals. Books can be about anything. The words and sentences are interesting. Easy books are fun to read. A new book is a chance to discover what it’s about. Reading gives you something to do. You can do it wherever you want! The story might be cool and you want to look right away.
