The Port Townsend PTA supports Grant Street and Mountain View Schools in Port Townsend. The mission of Port Townend PTA is:

To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in schools, in the community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;
To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children;
To encourage parent and public involvement in this nation's public school system. |

Grant Street PTA meetings are open to all members and all Grant Street and Mountain View parents and staff. Child care is provided during meetings. Scheduled meetings will be held once each month, alternating between the Mountain View and Grant Street School libraries. (We provide child care for families who need it in order to attend.) Meetings are held one Tuesday each month from 6:30-8:00 PM. Meeting dates for the 2007-08 school year are:
