Knowledge Bowl 2005-06

PT-1 Knowledge bowl team will compete in the State championship tournament on Saturday, March 26 in Camas, Washington. PTHS is the two-time defending 2A state champion. 	The PTHS Knowledge Bowl team was photographed at Fort Worden on February 10, 2005. On that day, PTHS won the Summit Award for the sixth straight year. The Summit Award goes to the top Knowledge Bowl school in each of the size classifications on the Kitsap and Olympic peninsulas. PT defeated Chimacum, their closest 2A rival, by a wide margin to win the title again this year.

In the Regional Championship tournament at Fort Worden on March 1, PT-1 won first place, defeating all schools of all sizes on the Olympic and Kitsap peninsulas.  PT-1 will compete in the State Championships in Camas on March 26 coached by Jim Guthrie and John Van Ackeren.
