Environmental Studies

Through lectures, guest speakers, field trips, films, readings, projects and laboratory experiences, students will gain understanding of the impact of humans on all life forms that share the planet, with an emphasis on marine systems. Topics will include earth systems, sustainability, population dynamics, economics, ethics, endangered species, world health and managing resources. This is a class for mature students seeking deeper understanding of complex environmental systems.
