Community Task Force

The Adult Task Force is a committee of school faculty, parents and community members concerned about the drug and alcohol use by teenage youth. The committee gathers on a monthly basis to discuss and share ideas for reducing substance abuse in the teen population, to provide informative lectures and programs for parents and to encourage parent networking and communication as a way to promote a healthier high school community. The PTHS Community Task Force is coordinated and led by the PTHS Prevention-Intervention Specialist, Barbara Hansen.

Please join us if you are interested in working with others to help reduce underage drinking and drug use in our community.  This group is interested in what really works and in finding new and creative ways to help both parents and kids find safe and healthy ways to get the most out of the teen years.
