PTHS Class of 2007 News and Deadlines

• Attention: Graduating seniors and your families - Please consider speaking/playing music/displaying artwork in the PTHS Baccalaureate Service which will be Wednesday, June 6 at 7 p.m. The baccalaureate service is not affiliated with Port Townsend High School, the Port Townsend School District, or its employees. It IS a community interfaith service dedicated to honoring the graduates in an inspirational way, and it is organized by Young Life. All are welcome to participate!

• The photo for the Alumni Wall display on the 3rd floor is due April 27. It should be a wallet-sized photo (two inches wide by three inches long) and show head and shoulders only.    This is a separate photo from the one to yearbook.  Photos to Jan Boutilier.

• Port Townsend's graduations are admission by ticket only due to limited seating.  Students are initially issued the same number of tickets.  The number of tickets per student is figured by dividing the number of seats available by the number of graduates.  I will be taking requests for additional tickets at the last senior meeting in late May or early June.

• Grad Night is the parent-sponsored after-graduation party. The Grad Night tradition was started many years ago to give the graduates a safe, drug and alcohol-free graduation night party. The permission form can be downloaded by clicking here. The bus leaves Fort Worden at 10:15 p.m. following the graduation ceremony. This is the last opportunity for the Class of 2007 to be together as a class.
