The PTHS Cross Country Team continued to improve their record by winning the boys and girls West Central District III Championships, Saturday, October 29, 2005. The Boys Varsity scoring only 33 points and Girls scoring 44, our Redskin runners ran exceptionally well, dominating the rest of the field. A day in PTHS history we can all be proud of in honor their efforts and outstanding performance.

PTXC SWEEPS MEET!
Port Townsend Cross Country scored a perfect 15 points to win against Life Christian and Cascade Christian. Remembering the low score wins in x/c, your Redskin runners finished the top seven spots in the girls varsity and the top six spots in the boys. PTXC travels to Seaside this weekend to compete with
many Oregon and southern Washington teams. Watch for pictures on your PTHS website.

Saturday, September 10, 2005 - Bellarmine Invite

This year’s team consists of 32 members, 14 girls and 18 boys, and in my opinion the best in 10 years.  The first two weeks of practice were great fun including Lake Crescent, Elwha, Guys Night Out, and the many pancake breakfast runs before school started.  Townsend runners are proud of their ability to compete with larger schools making them one of the top ten schools in 2A state rankings.  We hope to be a continuing dominate contender in the Nisqually League this year.
