REDSKIN FOOTBALL PROSPECT 2005
“ONE HEARTBEAT”….and the beat goes on.
 
Dear Redskin Student-Athlete:
 
It has been a long process these past months and I want you to know I look forward to seeing you and any newcomers to the program.  We had a great season in 2004 going 9-2 and we have high expectations again this year for 2005. 
 
If this is your first year, we welcome you.  Port Townsend Football has proved itself by being at the top of the league many times over with players who are dedicated like you.  We would like to continue this winning tradition and want you to be a part of it.  Several things need to be done before practice begins (August 17th).  
 
You will need to fill out a fall sports packet and you can pick one up at the District Office at the Lincoln Building or the high school office when it is opened. Make sure you read and sign each form.  It is mandatory that you get the packets back in quickly.  No individual can practice or be issued equipment unless required papers have been turned in to the Athletic Director’s office and you have been cleared for participation. Sports sign-ups will begin on Monday, August 15th thru the 17th at Port Townsend High School.
 
If you need a sports physical, you can get one with no appointment necessary. Have a parent/guardian with you, the cost is $40.  Cash, checks or bankcards are due at time of service.  Sports physicals will begin from 9:00am till 2:00pm Saturday, August 13th at Port Townsend Family Physicians Clinic. .  Get there early.  Last opportunity will be the following Saturday, August 20th.
 
Remind your parents/guardians that there will be a Sports night on Thursday, August 18th at the high school auditorium beginning at 7:00 p.m.  I look forward to seeing all of you.  Should you have any questions before practice begins, please feel free to call me 379-3999.
