This is by far our best outing of the year. We have not had a champion in any tournament this year and now we got two freshman champions. We keep getting better and have a long way to go. I have had to adjust my expectations of these kids because they are surpassing what I think they are capable of doing. It was fun today and I expect it to be fun for the next two weeks.

Match was closer than it looked, a couple of matches could have gone the other way and we might have been in the match. Too many mistakes and too much youth. But we keep getting better.

Our best outing yet. We only took 9 wrestlers and managed to place all but two in the tournamant. Some new faces in the line up, Richard Hanna, Andy Palmer and Christian Dubois. All performed well but looked rusty. They will get better with each match and hopefully we will have them ready for Feb. 3 district meet at Sequim. , 2007

We entered the match with 3 freshman and 4 juniors and wrestled a Senior-dominated team. We wrestled very well for our inexperience. Next week should have a full team and be a different team.
