Mountain View Student Council/K-Kids
This group of young leaders co-exists as our elected Student Council and K-Kids, a sponsored-youth group of the Port Townsend Kiwanis Club.
Each classroom elects two Representatives to the Student Council, and officers are elected from the Council. During the year the Student Council meets at least once per month. Their goals are to help our school and community.

November 2007— Student Council/K-Kids held their annual Food Drive for the Port Townsend Food Bank. Classes compteted to see who collected the most food, but the real winners were the local families who depend on the Food Bank for healthy food. This year our students collected 2,327 pounds of food!
