MV PTSA Provides Storytellers for our Community

On February 22nd Joe and Paula McHugh entertained us with their presentation, Shakin' Down the Acorns. With the help of the Grant Street PTA and Mountain View PTSA the storytellers performed at both schools during the day and then performed in the Mountain View Gym on Tuesday evening.

At each show Joe and Paula shared folk tales, tall tales, ghost tales, and some humorous tales. They also played music and shared their "slapjack" dancing man and the highly-popular three-legged chicken! Around a hundred children and adults attended the performance on Thursday evening. PTSA moms also sold baked goods and the new line of Cougar Wear.

Need a new Cougar shirt? They'll be available at the Mountain View Art Show and Science Fair scheduled for February 27th. PTSA next meets at 6:30 on March 6, 2007. Everyone is welcome— Hope to see you there!
