Snow Emergency Information2007-2008 School YearDuring severe weather conditions, the Port Townsend School District may use the following snow routes for the safety of your child(ren). If your stop is not listed, it remains the same: Route 200 Sandra Thompson (K-5)

Special Notice for High School StudentsIf F Street is not passable, High School students will have bus service at Mountain View, and will be required to walk to and from the High School campus. Parents may use their own discretion about sending their child(ren) to school during severe weather. To find out if your child's bus is running on a late start schedule or for possible school closure, call the bus hotline at 379-4500 ext. 4600. You may also call transportation at 732-4040. Emergency routes and closure information may also be heard on the following AM Radio Stations: KIRO 710. KOMO 1000, FM KMPS 94.1, KPLU 88.5, TV KING 5, KIRO 7, AND KOMO 4.
IMPORTANT!Route times are approximate. The drivers will be very cautious, which of course will slow them down. Please have your child(ren) warmly dressed and remind them to stay well off the road. Have an alternate plan for your child if the bus does not come in a timely manner. |
